Maasai Girls Education and Emancipation (MGEE) is a community-driven organization committed to empowering Maasai girls through education and essential support services. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and inequality by ensuring that girls have access to quality education, nutritious food, and clean water — the basic building blocks for a brighter future.
We believe that when a girl is educated, she becomes a powerful force for change in her family, community, and beyond. MGEE works closely with local leaders, families, and schools to create a safe and supportive environment where girls can thrive academically and socially. By addressing challenges such as early marriage, gender-based violence, and cultural barriers, we aim to give every Maasai girl the opportunity to reach her full potential.

MGEE runs weekly and monthly programs focused on the three core pillars of our mission: Education, Clean Water Access, and Nutrition Support. Below is a general overview of our event schedule:

Day: Wednesday (Weekly Outreach) Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Village water points and school compounds
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: School feeding centers and MGEE-supported homes
