Alaanyu N. Mosson

Professional Tour Guide
My name is Alaanyu N. Mosson. I was born in Sendui Village, located in Alailelai Ward, Ngorongoro District, Arusha Region. I am a father to one wife and a father of two children.
My dedication to MGEE stems from a personal belief that empowering girls through education is one of the most powerful ways to uplift not only individuals but entire communities. By supporting MGEE, I aim to be part of the change that breaks cycles of poverty, reduces early marriages, and opens new doors for young girls to dream and achieve more.
I stand with MGEE’s efforts in providing scholarships, health support, and community development initiatives, and I will continue to raise awareness, advocate for equal opportunities, and contribute in any way I can to ensure that Maasai girls have a brighter, more promising future.

Personal Experience

-> My journey as a tour guide began from a deep love for nature, wildlife, and storytelling. Over time, I have developed strong knowledge of local flora and fauna, cultural practices, and the geography of our national parks and conservation areas. I take pride in offering my guests not just a tour, but a truly immersive and educational experience.

-> Guiding is not just my profession—it's my passion, and I’m proud to represent the beauty, heritage, and spirit of Tanzania to the world.

-> I am also the Head Chief of Maape Maasai Village in Esilalei, Mto Wa Mbu
